Are you defending your business from rising energy prices and unexpected costly power cuts? Attend our free seminar at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Rock Clean Energy is excited to announce it is hosting a dedicated energy storage seminar, ‘Battery Storage for Business’ in partnership with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce this April.
Taking place at Worcestershire County Cricket Club on Thursday 19th April, 8.00am – 9.30am. ‘Battery Storage for Business’ is free to attend for the benefit of local industrial and commercial businesses who are large energy users and could directly benefit from their own Battery Energy Storage System.
The key topics will include:
- Introduction to battery storage, energy trends and the smart grid.
- Overview of the opportunity and business case for Behind the Meter Storage.
- Outline of the revenue streams and how to access them.
- Ideal applications with or without renewable generation.
- The different finance models, including a fully-funded option.
Chris Roberts, Director of Rock Clean Energy, said "The Battery Storage for Business seminar will provide the opportunity for local businesses to understand the cost-saving benefits of having their very own battery storage solution – not only reducing electricity bills but providing a back-up supply in the event of a power failure, ensuring that production and operations are not affected.”
Roberts went on to say “Rock Clean Energy is working with the energy storage manufacturing giant and global market leader Tesla, and UK aggregator KiWi Power. These two powerful partnerships enable us to provide businesses with fully-funded Tesla Battery Energy Storage Systems – whilst generating revenue from the transmission and distribution networks.”
Founded in early 2017, Rock Clean Energy is the sister firm of Worcester-based Independent Connections Provider, Rock Power Connections. As specialist High Voltage electrical engineers, the Rock team already had the experience and capability to install commercial batteries on primary substations.
Directors Kev, Matt and Reece decided to enter the commercial battery market as the cost of the technology has been driven down rapidly over the last few years, making a compelling business case for industrial and commercial end-users. The new venture also represents a natural synergy to the core 'power connections' business. The creation of Rock Clean Energy comes with a new Director, Chris Roberts, a pioneer in the UK’s energy storage and renewable energy industries.
Rock Clean Energy can provide large firms with a complete Battery Storage Solution - from design and securing funding, right through to installation and full ongoing maintenance.
